The Woolden Hill Association
Welcome to the Woolden Hill Association
The Woolden Hill Association (WHA) is Woolden Hill’s Parent/Teacher Association. Our aim is to support the school in providing the best possible educational experience for its pupils – our children.
Our current committee comprises parents, grandparents, past parents, teachers and we always welcome new members to join our team.
We also have parents, carers, friends and staff who regularly help at events or give their time and talent throughout the year when they are able.
We fulfil our aim in two ways: by raising money to provide resources and by providing opportunities for pupils and parents to get together socially. To this end, we organise a range of events throughout the year – sponsored events, family evenings, children’s discos, fairs and drop-in sessions to name a few!
Our fundraising has facilitated the provision of a diverse range of equipment and activities for pupils: from ICT equipment and books to a visiting pantomime, from a willow dome and a Trim Trail to school trip subsidies.
Annual General Meeting
Our AGM takes place in September, during which we will plan another year of fun and spending!
Our Friends of Woolden Hill are a very committed and enthusiastic team. Their fundraising events throughout the year enable us to enhance our provision for all children, including transport costs to cultural events, developing outdoor play, resourcing our library and much more.
